This mindset shift changes everything...

I absolutely love Spring. Does it get you, too? There’s so much beauty in the season…

The birds start getting loud again.
Trees that looked completely dead a few weeks ago start growing tiny green buds.
Animals come out of hiding. New life starts everywhere. The ducks at the lake across from my home have babies and I get to watch these sweet little creatures follow their momma around like a classic elementary school book story would tell.

Nature wakes up.

And yet… for a lot of women, this same season brings the opposite feeling.

Panic.

Because suddenly it’s:

“Summer is coming.”

“I should probably get serious.”

“I need to tighten things up.” (I have been having quite a few of these conversations as of late…)

But if you actually watch what happens in nature, it’s not frantic at all.

I want to offer you this. Spring isn’t about forcing something to happen.

It’s what happens when the conditions are right for life to come back online.

And interestingly, nature doesn’t do this by adding more.

It clears space.

Old leaves fall.
Branches shed what they don’t need.
The ground softens so something new can grow.

I think about this a lot with the women I work with.

Most believe the answer to weight loss or feeling better in their bodies is to add more, yet their lives are already so full, the question is, where do we add more without feeling overwhelmed?

They include:

More rules.
More strategies.
More supplements.
More tracking.
More effort.

But I find that often the real shift happens when we start asking a different question:

What in my life is creating unnecessary noise?


Because when your mind is crowded with rules and pressure and constant self-correction… it’s really hard to hear your own wisdom.

And that wisdom is there.

God didn’t forget to give it to you.

But His voice, and our own intuition, usually doesn’t scream over the chaos.

It gets muffled the more we pile onto ourselves.

Sometimes the most powerful move isn’t doing more.

It’s subtracting.

Letting go of habits that keep you stuck in the same cycle.
Dropping the pressure to constantly “fix” yourself.
Cleaning out the mental and emotional closet that’s been packed for years.

You know how when you clean out a closet you suddenly realize…

You didn’t actually need more clothes.

You just needed space to see what was already there.

Our minds and lives work the same way.

So instead of approaching the next few months with fear about summer coming…

What if you saw this season the way nature does?

As a chance for renewal.

Not pressure.
Not punishment.

Just the opportunity to make space for the version of you that’s ready to come forward now.

Not through force.

But through more clarity and alignment.
